We’ve all been there. The day we wake up and realize that maybe we’re a little bit sick. We’re too tired to want to get out of bed, so we just eat some breakfast and go to work. We have been told that our brains were created from a single, living cell, but it turns out that is a lie. The cells that make up our brain are so complex that they can only exist in pairs. To put it simply, the brain is the most complex thing in the body. Even though we know the brain is just a brain, we still have no idea what it really is. Our brain is far from being a homogeneous mass of neurons, which are the individual cells firing together to create a single, intricate pattern. Our brain is very much like a computer, in that it is a pattern of tiny pieces of computer circuitry.

It is the part where the neurons are located, and where we have communication with the rest of the body.

White matter is where we’re at with our day-to-day lives, and the day to day living our lives. It’s the part of the brain that controls the functions like sleep, memory, and daydreaming which is why we often say, “I don’t know why I’m doing this.
